Google Competition

Google just ended a competition, which they describe, with this question, “What happens when you give hundreds of student teams across the world an AdWords online advertising budget of US$250 and three weeks to help a local business improve their marketing campaign?”  The campaign can  be for a nonprofit organization. This would have been a really neat project to do for this Marketing class; not only would we see what marketing is, we could actually use what we learn in a real-life situation. To quality, a professor must register a group of three to six applicants, and the team gets to pick which organization to work with.  Then, they run their campaign with AdWords, reflect upon their experiences, and are ranked on how well they did.
