Think Small

In 1960 Volkswagen began a Think Small campaign. After WWII many Americans were not interested in buying small cars, let alone German cars. The ad did not try to change people’s perception on the car, but rather play to their expectations. The campaign shows that companies should not lie about their products; shortcomings are only shortcomings if they are hidden and shamed. Image
