This blog is actually powered by WordPress. It is to inform people on new phone and tech innovations using reviews, pictures, and just informative articles. It’s super colorful and engaging.
One cool idea they have written about is the idea of the Phone Blok. It is essentially a customizable phone. Instead of buying a new device every time there is new technology, the person can just change that specific part of their phone. For example, if a person wants a better camera on their phone, they can just exchange their “camera block” with a newer “camera block.” This would help to reduce electronic waste and help customers save money.
These ads both play to the viewers emotion. A person seeing this is instantly moved and wants to donate to the cause.
These ads are really cool and creative. The garbage can targets people who smoke and plays to the message. The headache ad is creative because it incorporates the message into the stand it is on.
This Apple online ad is empowering. It shows how Apple is really changing the world, not just accomplishing playing Angry Birds.
This is a general rule for all companies using social media. This was found here.
- Four should be pieces of content from your influencer target that are also relevant to your audience. This means that 67 percent of the time you are sharing content that is not yours, and calling attention to content from your influencer group.
- One piece should be original, educational content that you have created.
- One piece should be sales-related — like a coupon, product notice, press release, or some other piece of content that no one will likely pay attention to.
This formula sounds pretty good, as I would probably follow a company who posted like this, even if it is not exactly to the formula.
This ad is really funny and short. It gets the point across and shows a practical reason to use Berlitz’ product, not to mess up English in an important situation.
This video is like an SNL skit, easy to understand and comical. The video clearly shows what it is advertising through a story, an American football coach, turned “football” coach in England. It pokes fun at American football, but not in a sarcastic, offensive way, but a witty, genuinely funny manner.
This vitamin water is great, but does not have direct brand placement. The ad shows Vitamin Water’s belief, #makeboringbrilliant. The beginning of this ad seems just like another typical beggar on the subway. He ends up telling the subway people that he is actually doing very well. At first, people feel unwelcoming, but after he tells them his story, they realize he is actually only asking them for handshakes, which they happily give to him. Although Vitamin Water is not at all present during the actually footage, the ad still gets their idea across.
Frontline floor ad which is difficult to see from the ground. This ad is funny and gets people involved in the ad itself.
The internet is unlike any other marketing tool, and Seth Godin says it finest.
The Net is not television. It is the finest direct-marketing mechanism in the history of mankind. It is direct mail with free stamps, and it allows you to create richer and deeper relationships than you’ve ever been able to create before.
Companies who face marketing problems should turn to the Internet. It is so easy to directly communicate with potential buyers, and it does not cost much.
